The Institute of International Energy Studies, affiliated to the Ministry of Oil and one of the higher education and research institutions under the regulations of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, started its mission in 1370 as a research center. Achieving the goals outlined in the twenty-year vision of the Islamic Republic of Iran and realizing the important role of the oil industry in the set of scientific, economic, social, political and international activities of the country and helping the decision-making and decision-making of the top managers of the oil industry by paying attention to the studies of energy economy, management Human resources, financial management and planning, technology strategy, global energy scenarios, international oil and gas markets, and strategic issues at the macro level of the oil industry are medium and long-term goals of the institute.
